White Heels

How to wear white heels! Trying to figure out just how and when to wear your white heels is a pretty common concern as there are so many different rules about where and when to wear them.  When worn properly you will find that white heels are very fashion friendly and look both attractive and yet still very fun and flirty.  Don’t forget though, white heels are white and that means that it might be difficult to keep them looking that way.  I would suggest buying a white shoe polish kit to go with your white heels so that they will stay looking white.  The only thing worse than wearing white heels when you shouldn’t be is wearing white heels that are scuffed up and dirty looking.

Your white low heel and white heeled sandals are very classic summer looks.  They will give you a flowing, beach like look for your summer outings and just when your out and about.  Also, the white of the shoe will really help to show off any tan that you might have on your legs!  One thing that I must make very clear to you is that the rule of not wearing white after Labor Day is really a thing of the past and it doesn’t really exist any longer.  As the year starts to cool down a bit, wearing your white heels with either black or even grey panty hose will really make the shoes shine and give you a very flirty and slightly retro appearance.  Extra shiny white heels will look wonderful with your jeans and a great formal top at parties any time of the year.

When your planning to wear your white heels just make sure that the weather is appropriate, you don’t want to splash through mud in white heels, and that your wearing them with an out fit that really lets the white heels shine as well as letting the out fit shin as well!  Think about where your going to wear them.  Although we can throw out the rule about not wearing them after Labor Day, the rule about not wearing white to a wedding still applies.  Even though I am sure that you could get away with a great pastel dress or out fit with the white heels at some one else’s wedding its still not appropriate.   The new rules for white heels are pretty simple.  Make it fun, make it flirty, and make it look really good!  White heels can be worn just about any where and for just about an occasion.  Just don’t forget to pick up a good leather cleaner and a white shoe polish kit because you don’t want your white heels to look bad.
